Via Corti, Apartment

View of the living room

The inspiration for this 65m2 interior was to evoke elements from the city of Milano and apply it through materiality and form. Positioned in a 1940s building, with ‘palladiana’ floors in the entrance and many Ceppo di Gre stone facades in the neighbourhood. We took these materials and applied the palladiana floor in the kitchen with green ‘serpentino’ marble and used Ceppo di Gre for the fireplace and the kitchen top.

In order to balance out the use of stone and marble, natural oak wood has been used for the pavements and the wood surfaces. Also, regarding metal we used the silver, which is very typical for Milanese social places.
