Daniel Nikolovski (1992) is a Macedonian-born interior and furniture designer, currently living and working in Milan, Italy. His work is narrative-driven and is characterised by the use of sculptural geometries, altering proportions, and through rich range of materials such as: steel, resin, tortoiseshell acetate, boldly-patterned woods and fabrics...
Paying homage to Soviet Architecture, more
specifically a catholic church in the city of Skopje
designed by Blagoja Mickovski-Bajo, this object
seems as if it is almost a maquette model of a
building.
Handmade by the designer, this glazed ceramic
object is consisted of three curved walls, jointed with
vertical pillars, evoking a compositional seriousness
of a scred monument.
