Daniel Nikolovski (1992) is a Macedonian-born interior and furniture designer, currently living and working in Milan, Italy. His work is narrative-driven and is characterised by the use of sculptural geometries, altering proportions, and through rich range of materials such as: steel, resin, tortoiseshell acetate, boldly-patterned woods and fabrics...
The concept behind this plate is capturing a
chemical phenomenon - fire, and freezing it in time. Handmade by roughly sculpting a piece of clay, this object evokes subtle gestures of flames.
Glazed in fire-y glossy and opaque glazings,
this sculptural plate has many uses such as: plate for serving food, ashtray or simply use it as a storage of personal items.
