Ripped Carpet

This design is an ardent effort to materialise the designers’ appreciation of the old and the damaged seen in the eyes of 2019, where it is neither a replication nor imitation. The ripped is highlighted in accent orange and serves as a figurative expression to re-introduce the beauty of the past in a visual language appreciated by contemporary viewers. The varying thickness of the carpet creates levels throughout and provides an alternative landscape in the room.
